DAY1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBEE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND OVERNIGHT STAY.

Upon your arrival into Uganda the pearl of Africa, you will be welcomed by your Epic Gorilla Trails guide, ashort and precise briefing from your guide will be conducted, luggage fitted in the vehicle and after you’re driven to your hotel in Entebbe. Depending on the time of your arrival, a short excursion of Entebbe can be arranged. This will include a visit to the Botanical Gardens, An exploration trip to Uganda wildlife Education Centre or take a boat trip to Mabamba swamp for shoebill stork search. Accommodation is anticipated at The Boma Hotel (Medium) or Hotel No.5 (Luxury).

DAY 2: TRANSFER FROM ENTEBBE AIRPORT TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK AND EVENING GAME DRIVE:

After your morning Breakfast from the hotel, you will fit luggage into the vehicle together with your safari guide you transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you will enjoy the discoveries of roadside tourism amidst community settlement patterns. On this trip you will have an opportunity to cross the equator whereby you will have stopover at the Equator experience in photographs and craft gallery explorations. We will proceed after here to arrive in Mbrarara city for a hot lunch break, and continue to Queen Elizabeth national park. An evening game drive is possible after your hotel check in. Accommodation will be booked at Buffalo safari lodge (Medium) or Mweya safari lodge Classic tent (Luxury).

DAY 3: MORNING GAME DRIVE, PREDATOR-LION TRACKING EXPERINCE, PERSONALISED BOATCRUISE AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL AT BUHOMA:

You will wake up to an early morning breakfast from your hotel and drive into the game channels of Queen Elizabeth national park. This day is meant for your game watching into Uganda’s favourite national park for the Big Five search. You will start the day with morning game watching into the forest interior, our expected tracks include kasenyi koblek and among the wildlife sightings includes Cape Buffaloes, Herding African Savanna Elephants, lion prides, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, Hippos, Leopards etc which do call this forest home. After this game drive, we will proceed to the boat cruise on Kazinga channel connecting two lakes of George and Edward. On this channel, we are likely to witness the amazing wildlife scenes of aquatic tourism. After this activity, we will come back to the hotel for a hot lunch and later checkout transferring to Bwindi through Ishasha in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National park. Accommodation is expected to be booked at Mahogany Lodge (Medium) or Gorilla forest camp of the sanctuary retreats (Luxury).

DAY 4: MOUNTAIN GORILLA TRACKING IN THE NORTHERN PART OF BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK:

After early morning Breakfast from your hotel, with your packed lunch you will be driven to Uganda wildlife Authority tourist reception center. You will meet your ranger guide who will take you through activity safety briefing about your mountain gorilla tracking and later be partitioned into small group of 8 pax and commence walking through the forest to your respective gorilla family.  After the gorilla tracking activity you will be back to the lodge for relaxation. Optionally, a short discovery community experiential trail of Buhoma villages can be arranged for your evening. Accommodsation is expected back at Mahogany Lodge (Medium) or Gorilla forest camp of the sanctuary retreats (Luxury).

DAY 5: TRANSFERING FROM BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK TO KIHIHI AIRSTRIP AND PROCEED TO ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

You will have Breakfast from your Hotel and drive to Kihihi airstrip in Kanungu. Here you will board a local flight to connect back to Entebe international airport for your connecting flight to your other destiations hence ending your safari with us.
